What inspired you to create the artworks you have made for The Ode To?

– The inspiration behind these remarkable artworks stems from the sketches of Italian artist Amadeo Modigliani. During a visit to the national museum of art in Copenhagen, I stumbled upon a book showcasing his sketches, and they resonated with me on a profound level. Additionally, the captivating wooden sculptures of Ryan Schneider, with their expressive figures and vivid colors, served as a further source of inspiration for the final piece in the collection.

Can you tell us about your background and how you came to be an artist?

– As a self-taught artist with a background in economics, my artistic journey began at a young age, where I found solace and joy in drawing and painting. Over the past few years, I have truly discovered my artistic voice and style, which has provided me with immense inspiration and motivation. This newfound liberation has allowed me to create artworks that resonate deeply with both myself and others.

How would you describe your art and aesthetics in three words?

– Colorful, expressive, vivid.
